Before being hired as Safety officer one is subjected to an interview. This particular interview is meant to let the interviewer know how well one understands about health and safety. It is always paramount to be well prepared to answer these questions. The ideal way of doing this is going through the commn. These questions might not be exactly the same as the one that will be asked during the interview. But they give one insight on what will be asked. Here are the primary:  

 

Question 1. What is an emergency?

Answer I. An emergency is when a situation that was not expected happens. This means that the particular situation was not foreseen and therefore it has happened as a surprise.

Answer II. Emergencies are risky situations which put people at risk but happen when no one is not expecting. Such situations require to be handled as soon as possible so as to reduce or eliminate the risks.

important role in making work more efficient.

Answer I. This is the minimum concentration of gasses, vapor and dust in air below which propagation of flame does not occur on contact with a source of ignition.

Answer I. Manual handling is when workers do not use any kind of machineries to perform different duties. The workers use their hands to carry different things especially the things which are not too heavy.

Answer I. An incident is when something that is out of the normal happens. This does not necessarily has to cause harm but it deviates from the normal procedures. According to the HSE department, most incidents usually result to accidents and this can cause harm.

Answer I. A safety audit is taking time to ensure that the stipulate safety policies are implemented properly. The audit seeks to check whether the safety policies actually provide the necessary protection from accidents and incidents. Employers and business owners are encouraged to do safety audits regularly to make sure they are not using outdated safety policies.

Answer I. A safety tag is when a particular safety issue is given priority over the others. The safety tag identifies something that has higher chances of causing accidents especially in workplaces. The tag puts more emphasis on the particular thing so as to provide ample protection.

Answer I. A safety program entails a number of steps which are put in place to enhance safety. Such a program usually enlightens the people involved on the best ways of enhancing their safety and the safety of the environment.
